Surprise.
Hello everyone, how are you all?
Well i had a lovely surprise on Sunday morning, there i was minding my own and putting out my washing when i just happened to look at our old Pear tree and i spotted 2 more Pears. I was so surprised i ran in the house to grab my phone to take pics .
We honestly thought that we were only getting one lonely Pear again this year, people will probably think it is nothing special , however to me personally it is the best thing ever just proves to me that there is life in my old tree yet.
They are hard to spot and for ages i thought the one below was a bloody leaf. This one is nestled at the top nice and camouflaged in between branches.
Also this is the one i spotted swaying about in the breeze.
I am so happy , 3 Pears is the most our tree has ever produced in the time we have had it. Now it is the patient wait until they are ready and i am bagging one for myself, i love them when they are slightly over ripe and you bite into it and the juice just runs down your fingers , gorgeous. I will be checking them daily to make sure the pesky birds don't get them before me, watch me wrestle the blackbird for it.
I hope that you all have a lovely day.

I understand your excitement. Our pear tree has seven pears on but we'd only spotted five for a long time. The thrill of finding two more set my heart a flutter
ReplyDeleteHi Cherie, o i am so happy for you, it's exciting and i don't care what anyone else thinks. I love my fruit trees and to find extra goodies is thrilling, enjoy your little bonus ones.
