Look who popped in..

Our garden is full of birds all the time..the pond is watering central for all sorts..i have spotted cats having a drink now and again and the Heron often pops in but not for a drink.
I was surprised to see this fella the other day..

I never realized how big they are..

 He was hopping around for a good 5 minutes..had a drink ,had a peck about then he was gone.

I haven't seen the Magpies for a few weeks now..the pair looked like they were going to nest in the big Conifer but they lost the battle to the Crows for that place.
I do hope i see them again..i think they have the most beautiful colouring.
