That time of year..

Its that time of year again..i mean slipper buying time. We haven't worn slippers for months..and when i asked the girls to try them on well you guessed it..they don't fit anymore.
Buying for Fern is easy and to be fair her slippers last ages..Iris on the other hand only has to look at her slippers and they seem to give up the will to stay in shape or keep her toes inside them.I have to buy Iris slippers at least 3 times from this time of year until the warm weather next year. Imagine my total surprise and absolute amazement at finding 4 pairs all in her size and new with price tags on them for sale on Ebay..even with postage i got the lot for under £10..bargain.
It has saved me a fortune by buying in bulk..now i won't have to run around buying them left right and centre.I have put the other three pairs away and they will be dished out as and when she needs them.
