Formal complaint filed.

 Hello everyone , how are you all?

As you all know i have been waiting and waiting for the Council Contractors Fosters to come and re do my kitchen and hallway ceilings. It is on going and i was let down again this week. I had a text message from them to say the work would commence on the 14th through to the 16th of this month. So being the optimist i am we emptied our kitchen and hallway again, up rooting the house for absolutely nothing.

I find it very unprofessional that there is absolutely no communiction from them at all. Even if you ring all you get is an answerphone and they have never rung back once. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that they  would eventually turn up on the Thursday and Friday and yet again nothing. I am so over them now, i rang the Council and explained to the lady that i want to make a Formal Complaint, she was lovely and told me what to do and how to find it all online. I did this and included a time line of calls,messages and pictures. So we will now have to wait and see, if i get no response then my Local MP is my next port of call. We put the kitchen back together on Friday afternoon so the house is not a tip.I had to laugh at the Fosters web page, professional and caring 😕priding themselves on good work, well i will judge that when i finally get it done. I got so fed up of waiting for them to arrive i went outside and started to clean the old fence and got on with painting it all.

Two coats later and it looks bright clean and new. Now we just have to get rid of the extra large ladder, we no longer need it and to be honest we have only used it once. It was a bargain at the time £20 so we will sell it for that. 

I saw a little Squirrel having a frenzy on our dried grass , taking huge mouthfuls and running up the conifer, he was doing it for about 30 minutes up and down running like he was so frantic to get it done, then i looked and saw a cat sat right in the middle of his run. I scared the cat away but i didn't see the Squirrel again, i know he is around as i keep finding Chestnuts scattered around the garden in various spots.

Can you see him , i had to be careful and not move to fast, i managed to get a few shots before he legged it. How cute , i do hope he comes back.

The mornings have had a definite chill to them, our poor trees are dropping leaves ,every gust of wind sends more going and it looks like yellow confetti swirling all over.

They look absolutely gorgeous with gold streak running through them.

Our Virginia Creeper is on its best display along with our Pumpkin Porch.

Our delivery lady has had a few and so did the cheeky window cleaner who took a big one when i offered small ones, i will get him next time i see him.

So for a shitty week i feel good and won't let it get me down. It's not the end of the world not having the ceiling done but i do not like being lied to and let down all the time. I wonder what i pay our rent for to be honest.
