About us.

 Hello everyone . Thank you for choosing to have a quick peek at my blog.

Where to start, well i am a mum of 6 beautiful children . The ages range from 39 all the way down to our youngest at 18. So as you can gather i am also a granny to 7 gorgeous grandchildren.

My hubby and i are in the same mindset as each other which helps a lot.

We got married young and never really had a lot of money so being frugal was our motto, we had to learn how to do just about everything ourselves.

From growing our own to making jam and chutneys, freezer management to see us through the year when times were tough. Hanging wallpaper and building a kitchen we have done it. Hubby has his own blog which is a wonderful read.

I have home schooled our youngest 2 children and loved every minute.

We have 2 bountiful allotments and greenhouses to start it all off.

We try to eat seasonally and shop for what we need.

Our Pantry is a staple and i am always adding to it.

We try to have at least 3-4 months worth of money and food to see us through any crisis that happens.

Over years of hard work and living frugally we have become debt free and have no intentions of going back .

We live a simplish life and love every second of it.
