Jack.
Today is a very sad day for us as a family, we lost our gorgeous scrunkly little Jack .
He passed away and has left behind broken hearts. You gave us 13 years of love and joy and we will miss you following us and just being here. Not a pet but one of us.
I'm so sorry! I always enjoyed your Jack pics, what a lovely little lad. There is no pain like it - we've lost 3 pets since February. First my 8 & a half yr old rabbit, then in May our almost 17yr old jack russell and lastly a fortnight ago my 9yr old rabbit. All 3 were helped over the bridge due to illness. I absolutely adore rabbits but am too old now to have more - we've still got a 14yr old cat and a 3yr old lab. Grief is a very powerful thing - it comes from nowhere when you're least expecting it. ReplyDeleteHello, i am so sorry you have lost little friends. Its the most awful and devastating thing, we are left behind with our grief. We were going to take Jack to the vets but he didn't make it and passed at home with us where he belongs.

It's always sad to lose an animal companion. Jack had a lovely life with you and has left you lots of beautiful memories. It never gets easier to say goodbye but as the late Queen very wisely said, 'Grief is the price we pay for love'.
