Finally i have news..

Hello everyone , how are you ?

Thank you so much to CraftNzn21 for your helpful information. I have good news, i have  a date for work to commence on my kitchen ceiling. Finally , it is not until 9 September and there is a catch, we have to remove the tiles in the hallway so they can all be done at the same time otherwise i will have to wait again.

I had given them until Tuesday to sort it and then i was going to lodge an official complaint, it didn't come to that thankfully but thank you so much for your wise words as i was at a total loss of what to do to be honest.

In other news we have gotten on great guns in the garden this week, putting in posts to hold our leaning shed upright and also giving it a new lease of life with a nice thick coat of paint and fixing what we found.

Before

After
These are the posts to hold it rigid and the holes goes very deep with concrete to sturdy it. So the frame is all done , now we are waiting for the  Thunderstorms to pass before we dismantle it and set it in its new place.

It is no longer leaning as the weight has been taken out of it and we propped it up to make sure it just wouldn't go and fall down on us. We re-aligned the door and put new wood on the panels that have rotted through. We have new Felt for the roof on order as well as more paint because i think it needs one more coat to do the job properly. We need 2 days to take it apart and then re assemble it. Hoping to have it done by the weekend, but we will have to wait and see what the weather has in store for us. It is very muggy here and cloudy, we have the warnings of Flash Flooding and Thunderstorms, which to be honest will be a relief if we get any rain.

In other good news i won an Ebay battle. I ordered what i thought was a bargain 1000 click and seal reusable bags for the freezer, they took an age to arrive and when they did i got these.

They are not what i ordered and paid £5.99 for. Honestly they were so thin they almost broke apart just removing the from the packets. There is no click and seal like it says on the packaging so i feel i was misled. To say i was disappointed is an understatement.  We use a lot of freezer bags for our veggies and fruits and i like to have sturdy bags that i can wash out and re use. These were obviously not what was advertised and definitely not re-usable. I contacted the seller who in my opinion had the audacity to offer me a 10% refund. Normally i would have took it and used the bags for something else but the message just mad me angry. I replied that 59p on a £5.99 purchase was not going to happen and they could send me a returns label which i was not going to pay for and i would send them back and get a full refund.I received my label and promptly sent them back, i know i sound like a karen but i was waiting for these  bags and needed them to safely store my stuff . Unfortunately for them they got my wrath and Menopause temper. I can't wait to leave feedback.
I finally went back to Amazon and bought the old faithful Ikea bags, these are so tough and durable that i think the extra pennies spent on it are worth it, lesson learnt , don't go cheap.

Have a lovely day everyone.
Take care
Ftm💙
