Absolutely typical..

Hello everyone , how you all in the cooler weather , isn't it lovely?

I got on great guns today, 3 loads of laundry done, beds changed and bathroom all cleaned. Hubby did a nice piece of Beef for dinner and all was well. That is until our T.V decided it was going to quit on us. Honestly as if we don't have enough going with the garden re do with a shed to buy, gravel and god knows what else, the last thing  we needed was to have to buy a new bloody T.V.

We did Google it  and followed instructions on how to reset it all but to no avail, and we are not experts so opening it up to replace the back light is a definite no no. Even the mighty You Tube didn't really have a lot  to say about how to fix it. Apparently you can get to the settings on the screen which would normally work but with a blank screen, that really requires some mind bending guess work. So we are screwed.

I find it bloody typical to be fair..this time 5 years ago almost to the day our old one did the same.

I have to give Amazon their dues, we found one to fit in the gap and it will be here on Tuesday, not a bad price either. It's a smart TV like our old one . So that is one more thing to go to the tip when we get it out and sorted.

I find that nothing it built to last any more. We didn't bother with Insurance on either of them as that comes at a price and also time waiting for an Engineer to come and fix it or replace it and i have to say i haven't had great experiences with them just lately, remember my Tumble Drier episode.

When you add up what you pay in Insurance you are better off putting the money aside to just purchase a new item when the time comes, which thankfully we did and it was a little cheaper than the last one so we have leftovers.

So last time the TV went it was the Euros and now the World Cup, maybe we are not meant to watch it.

Have a good day everyone.

Love to you all

Ftm💙
