Kitchen update..

Hello everyone , how are you all doing today?

I have a quick kitchen update, this morning was the one and only morning i slept in not up at the crack of dawn like i usually am, no i laid in a bit and  i totally regret it. Not long after i got  up and was having my first cuppa and doing my daily dairy i received a phone call from the contractors employed by the local council, could they possibly come today to do my Extractor Fan and if they could would i be ready within the next hour so they can get on with it. Obviously i said Yes, it was a frantic rush and getting it ready , i could have said No, but then i don't know how long i will be waiting for and i am at the stage where i just want it sorted and done. My lovely hubby bless his soul wasn't happy but he also understands i want it doing and over with. 

So now we are confined to the living room and dining room again, which looks like a dumping ground with no order just a quick put it anywhere and get it empty quickly.

Had to rush everyone to get up and have breakfast and disappear upstairs out the way.

I did ring the council on Tuesday to see what is happening with my ceiling and unfortunately the system was down and i got told to ring back at the end of the week, i will tomorrow. Sometimes i feel like i am getting the run around. Lets hope that today is the start of it all being done and i will get some normality back in the kitchen before long.

 We have been in the garden this week every afternoon after doing our morning chores,busy busy busy sorting out the new Green house. I have been painting all the slats that hubby cut, honestly it seemed never ending and he absolutely loved   tormenting me about it ,saying only a few more , then appearing with another armful, i was so relieved when he said all done, o thank the lord for that, i had paint everywhere and to be honest i do love painting but this tested my love for it.

However it was so worth it, don't they look amazing , homemade staging exactly how he wanted it and it cost less than the bought stuff, which by the way would have cost us over £180 for just one greenhouse and no where near as sturdy.

How good does it look in there, not long until we can put the glass in , we are waiting until it's all done inside then we will start it,the weather is not playing ball, wind and rain with hail stones.

Not to worry we will get it done then it's on to the next green house move, which involves more glass. Hubby and son will do that as i don't really have a good thing going with sharp objects, i can cut myself opening a tin if Tuna so i will be out the way then that all happens.  I don't mind  being a labourer but i will be no where near the sharp stuff.

I have just had a quick peek at the kitchen and he is done just got to fit the electrics .
