Annoyed...

 Hello everyone , how are you all today/

Well i for one am slightly annoyed, i was supposed to have work carried out on my Hallway and Kitchen ceilings this week. The way the Council made it out was that it would all be done and dusted in one day. I pysched myself up for it knowing it would be a massive upheaval and furniture moving plus emptying my entire kitchen so they clear access.  Within moments of arrival i got told that they  needed contractors who specialize in stairs because of health and safety. I was agog and tried to be understanding of the new way of doing things but then they told me if i didn't hear anything in a week to ring and find out what is going to happen. Seriously a week , now i am annoyed. I did everything they said and got a ripped out ceiling that has been just left looking like a war zone, i have flakes of paint drifting down and bits of plaster falling when you shut the door too hard.

My dining room looked like a charity shop with stuff all over and i tried to be organized about it, we had to side step and tiptoe all day around it in case any of it fell over. I suppose the only shining moment was i didn't have to cook lunch that day but pop to the chippy instead.

Hubby and i put it all back and have my kitchen in order just a shitty coloured ceiling to contend with. You can bet your last penny i will be ringing on Monday to find out how they are going to sort it out. Apparently all this needed doing urgently and quickly just like my fan in the kitchen and i haven't heard a gosh darn thing about it in weeks. So yes i am annoyed ,well , beyond annoyed but i can't do anything until i get in touch with them.

Rant over, take a deep breath and i know it's not the end of the world but this is my home our safe space and quiet haven away from the world.

I consoled myself by scrubbing it all and then going shopping for Chocolates.

I went to pick up Fern from work and spent a good while just perusing the aisles of Home Bargains, i bought treats for everyone including these little beauties.

You can't beat a good Tunnocks Tea Cake and they have to the proper ones not the knock of versions. Needless to say they didn't last long.

I was also roped in as unofficial labour to build some Green house staging for the new Green house.

And then painting it..

We made 2 of them, i did get paint on my jeans and that ticked me off as well.  I seem to have spent  this week pissed at something or someone.  O and to top it off the internet went down for 24 hours, not a big deal  just topped of the week nicely though. Next week can only be better.

I have been playing Taylor Swift Opalite and Shake it off on repeat. 

That's enough moaning from me.
