Did you remember??

Hello everyone, how are you today?

It's the return of the wet and windy weather, flipping chilly here. With it's return i have been soaking a little longer in a nice warm and fragrant bath reading my books then putting on my big PJ's and housecoat to keep cozy. I shouldn't complain as it will be soon be warmer than i personally like and T-shirt and shorts will be the main wardrobe items.

Last night i remembered as we were about to go to bed to put the clocks forward, i was honestly surprised when my hubby said that it was happening. It really doesn't feel that long since we put them back and this month is absolutely whizzing by and i was caught off guard by the clock thing. Where is time going and why does it seem to be going so fast.

So it now officially Spring.

Let us all hope that it is a good one and plenty of sunshine and less windy days. All the little plans we have should start coming to fruition  and the major ones will begin to take shape. Lighter in the evenings and fingers crossed all that lovely spring weather drying my washing. Outside jobs will be my main thing in the next few weeks. Cleaning the windows and sills, plus the doors to get the grime off them from Winter. The fish have started to be more lively in the last few weeks , they get into a frenzy at about 5ish every afternoon as that is feeding time, they cluster up and go for it when i throw the sticks and balls in, it is over as quick as it started and they disperse back to depths. To return the next day.

The Cheesecake i made has all but gone only one slice remains and no doubt a small war will begin at some point for the said slice. So i have popped out the scones and cream to avert a disaster.

These are 5 minute scones and i keep a batch in the freezer and whip up the cream with a little icing sugar in it, nothing better than a home made scone with home made jam..honestly i am surprised i am not huge as i do love these.
So off to have a cuppa and finish the scone.
 Love to you all
Ftm🌼
