Bedroom update..

 Hello everyone , how are you all today?

It has been so lovely here today, in fact that nice my hubby and i worked in the garden on our new project.

Think i may have pulled a muscle in my bum cheek of all places, but pop over to his blog to get an update on it all.

I don't know if you remember but last year we decided to give our bedroom a mini makeover.

It actually only cost us for a new curtain rail in the end and some choice words when moving furniture around.

Our bed originally was under the window, whilst looking impressive it just didn't give us a lot of room to move a round, it was talked about and agreed to move the bed to the inside wall and my low down book case was re-assembled to its full height and moved. Rather than me prattle on i will show you how it looks now.

The curtains used to be in the dining room and so was the lampshade, we just had to take them up a little and buy a new curtain rod. 

Just by moving furniture and putting things in storage our bedroom is now spacious and bright whilst being very warm and cozy, it just feels very comfortable in there and it is a delight to walk in and not stub my toe on the bottom of the bed. Next up is some new wardrobes but that is for later in the year.

So it was cheap and makes good use of the space we have. 

I love giving our home little  makeovers for next to nothing, just moving things or switching up the colour can just give it that oomph you were looking for or making the room itself feel brand new to you.
