Surprise visit..

 Hello everyone how are you all today?

It is Chilly with a capital C here, we have snow ,ice and slush everywhere. My heating has been on and the house is lovely and warm and i aim to keep it that way, might cost a small fortune but hell no way am i letting hubby get cold. Our door curtains are keeping the warmth in and the de humidifier is on removing condensation on the windows. We refuse to sit a cold house when we pay our gosh darn bill .

I had a lovely visit from my Uncle Rod this morning, he has been poorly for a while with a stroke and Pnuemonia last year, he drove over today with his friend for an after Christmas visit. It was so wonderful to see him looking healthier and getting back to his normal self. 

He also brought me a lovely gift. 2 boxes of jam jars with fabric covers.He has had them for over a year sat in his hallway already to go, but obviously his health comes first.

Aren't they gorgeous..he stayed for over an hour and half, but honestly the time flew by, we caught up and had a laugh, it made my heart feel good just by seeing him. 

Hopefully he will come over again if not i will see if i can get to him.

It just made my day probably the week actually just by him turning up.

I had to let you all know that a surprise visit can make an entire difference in someone's day.
