No matter how old they get..

 Hello everyone how are you all?

The Storm Goretti passed us by last night and it was rough, the snow we did get was all gone this morning. But i didn't know that , i looked out the window about midnight and just saw Snow all over everything and my mind started to panic, i hardly slept a wink. Why? 

Firstly hubby was still at work and would be coming home in it, he told me it was bad, bless him he was cold althrough. He had a nice warm bath and a hot cuppa before coming to bed but i still didn't settle.

Secondly our daughter is on the early shift where she works and our son gets up at 5 to take her to work, i worried about their getting there safely and the roads being not gritted and icy patches , my mind was racing and even though they are full grown adults i just could not settle at all. Thankfully when i did get up i looked straight out the window and there was no snow, i have never been more relieved. They made it safely and i felt a  huge sense of relief. I know they are grown and working and being responsible people but still there is always a worry for them, my son is a sensible driver and takes his time but it's the things he can't control that bother me, like other drivers who take it as a personal challenge to go like a bat out of hell on the ice or are on their phones and distracted, 9 times out of 10 these are the idiots that walk away from accidents without a scratch and leave total chaos and heart break in their wake. 

No one is at work early tomorrow so i may be able to sleep properly tonight, once hubby is home.

Does the worry ever stop? Our older girls are not escaping this either, i worry about them if things happen, even though they have their own families and homes.

My lovely hubby had some bad news that the Allotments have been broken into. Honestly i just don't get some people who think it is absolutely fine to take what does not belong to them. Please go and have a read,he makes some valid points
