Local shop prices.

 Hello everyone how are you all today?

Today is hubby's Bread day, he changed it from Saturday to a weekday so he can actually just chill at the weekends. I forgot to put Eggs on my shopping list when we all went on Monday, never gave it a thought, i lived to regret it.

I popped to our local shop to get a dozen eggs for the bread and was shocked that the cheapest i could find was £3.25, i honestly thought about putting them back but we need them for the dough mix. The dearest eggs were £3.65 for half a dozen..what the heck is going on with prices in the little shops. I understand they are there for convenience but crikey , i haven't been in there for a while and i had a quick shuffty at the prices , it has confirmed for me that i will not be going back.

All i can say is no wonder little local shops are closing down, if we hadn't needed them immediately then i would have waited until next week to get some, double the size but half the price.

Our bread better taste damn good after this . the most expensive eggs i have ever bought, first and last time i do that.
