Wonky veg.
Hello everyone , how are we all on the last day of September?
There was a little nip in the air over the last few mornings and my trees have a little streak of yellow in them, so it won't be long before Autumn is in full swing, bring it on i say.
My lovely hubby who has his own blog which you can find here

Well he has been digging up the Potatoes and harvesting the Sprouts and Carrots.
Some of the Potatoes are interesting to say the least , i love the shapes that you can get . This guy is giving us a wave and Iris found a love heart one.
We had 2 bags full from this dig up and probably more to come.
I will never understand why people prefer the perfect veg or fruit. It tastes the damn same. So what if the Cucumber is not perfectly straight or the Cauliflower is not exactly round , really does it matter of course not. The Supermarkets target people to think if it's not perfect then it's not good enough to be sold. I find it wrong as the poor farmer then loses money on it being rejected.
I always look forward to seeing what shapes we get. The Carrots are the best for being wonky and sometimes ( if you have a dirty mind), a little bit naughty😉.
At the end of it all does it really matter deep down if its not perfect, after all food is food.
Our Sprouts are starting to come in full force.
A sink full of Carrots.Ready to freeze.
A nice big bag ready to go in the veg freezer.
