I had to laugh and ask if it was serious.

Hello everyone , how are you on this wet day?

I love the rain and it has definitely cooled it all down and i for one could not be happier. My hubby took advantage of the rain and put Grow more all over the garden, as i was just told if i want to get technical then he top dressed it with Grow more. I have had a quiet day just tootling along and doing a spot of baking this morning and then i finished my book  by John Connolly " The Children of Eve". Brilliant as always and now on to the next.

I don't have Facebook , i deleted it a while ago and i can honestly say i don't miss it at all. Hubby has kept his as he loves the Gardening pages and also the ones dedicated to Rotovators. He will often read things to me but this one shook me and i had to ask if he was serious. The post in question was from our local council who had to put up that they cannot do anything about the smell from the local farmers spreading manure over the next few months as they have had a number of complaints. For a second i really thought he was kidding and it was a joke but no it was deadly serious. I started to laugh imagining "Karen" phoning to complain about it, we live in the middle of the countryside in a valley surrounded by farmland, surely your own sense must tell you that it's part of country living. I am still flabbergasted and chuckling to myself about it. So imagine my delight when i got up this morning and opened the windows for some cooler air only to smell manure on the air😂.

Have a lovely day

Take care all
