Feeling blessed.

 Hello everyone how are you all today?

The weather is much cooler and we have had plenty of rain which is doing so much good and no one has complained about it at all. Getting a good night's sleep is a bonus.

My lovely hubby , son and daughter went to the allotments this morning and came home loaded up with veggies.

The Carrots and cabbage are already done and in the freezer, the tomatoes will be eaten also the Raspberries. The Lettuce is washed and ready for tea. The Beetroots are being cooked as i type and will be sliced and frozen ready for pickling as we need them. We had some fresh New Potatoes for lunch , absolutely nothing tastes better than picked,cooked and eaten within an hour.

My son works for a well known supermarket and often gets me some bargains. 

The steaks are divine and have that extra kick because of the butter on them.

The joint is going to be roasted and sliced for mid week lunch and also any left over for sandwiches.

I separated the burgers and popped them in the freezer as sometimes people want a burger and no one else does.

My freezer is slowly filling up with veg and soon the fruit will appear, most of this will be made into jam and also some lovely cakes.

So i am feeling very blessed.
