Rhubarb.

 Hello everyone , how are you today?

It is much cooler today, and it's going to be chilly at night. We have fleece at the ready to cover the tender plants if they need it. I got my washing out early in the sun which then promptly disappeared and a breeze picked up, it still dried though.

Hubby has been to the allotments to water, the rain the other night was very welcome but to be fair it didn't really do anything for the garden. He brought home some freshly picked Rhubarb.


I decided to make a cake with it this time as there is plenty more to come.

My first attempt at Rhubarb and Ginger cake. It smells delicious and i can't wait to have some for tea. It will be one for now one to be frozen, i bet it will taste good with either cream, ice cream or custard.

I had some left over so i popped it in the foil tray and will add crumble mix on top when i want it.
I am going to make more cakes with Rhubarb and freeze also jam as we love it.
