Middle of the week.

 Hello everyone , how are you?

It's Wednesday and snack day for lunch today, this means everyone gets to pick what they would like for lunch. The chaps opt for beans and sausages on Crusty toast, Fern opts for soup and bread and Iris has Noodles. I today just fancied Scrambled eggs on toast. I popped some ham on top to finish it off and it was delicious.

I have so far this week made a Trifle and roasted a Gammon Joint. 

After roasting it we then sliced it up and got a large tub of sliced meat. Well worth the money and cheaper than buying the ham in packets, this cost an absolute fortune if everyone decides to have a ham sandwich so the only solution is to buy it , cook it , slice it, that way everyone can have as much as they want.

We all went shopping this morning. Belton Garden Centre first and we had a lovely time looking around at all the new things they have in stock and gasping at the prices of things. The only thing i did buy was a new Rag Rope for Jack Dog to play with, his old one is threadbare and he almost chokes on the threads .

Then The Range, me and the girls fave place to go and mooch around for a while. The girls got  the bits and bobs they wanted and i finally got a new door mat. I have been needing one for months, my old one is about 10-15 years old and just ruckles up on its own now. I got one of those that is apparently stain resistant, we will see😉.

I am lucky to be married to a thoughtful man, this morning i got up to a notification on my phone that my order is on it's way. I couldn't think of what it was for a minute, then i realized he had bought the 2 books i had put in the basket on Ebay. Isn't that lovely. I am looking forward to them arriving.

I feel a bit offish, not right. I have a thick head , my neck and shoulders ache and i am very tired. So i am going to have a nice warm bath and snuggle up on the sofa later on.
