The boiler saga continues

Hello everyone , how are you all?

As is typical for this time of year everyone in the house is poorly, we wouldn't have been ill if not for the plumber that came last week. He coughed everywhere and had a snotty nose. i stayed away from him but unfortunately my husband had to show him where the attic hatch is and he was wondering around the house checking radiators looking for a leak??. I am a little pissed at this as he should have worn a mask and i didn't realize he was ill until i came into the kitchen otherwise i would have asked him to no come in. Now everyone is ill to varying degrees except me..no doubt i will get it as i can't escape from coughing and snotty people.

So rant over and onto the boiler saga. We were thinking it was fixed but no, It loses pressure over night every night and we have to top it up. The plague ridden plumber seems to think we have a leak somewhere. He checked radiators and tanks and nothing so if there was a leak after a month of this we would have spotted it coming through some where by now.

They are coming today to do a thing with the boiler to pinpoint the problem, i mean come on this is getting ridiculous now. I am grateful it still works so i have hot water and heating but having to top it up every morning is daft. I have to say that the old company that did our boiler maintenance for the council would have replaced it by now but this company seem to just keep doing quick fixes and not addressing the major issue. They keep sending me text messages to complete a customer satisfaction survey😄i would but in the box for any other comments you only have 30 spaces. So i am not filling in any forms until its fixed properly and i don't have to dismantle the thing to top it up, if we don't do this then we have been told it will just stop working altogether😟. Wish me luck this afternoon and hope that this one can fix it and if he turns up poorly then i am making him wear a mask.

Take care all

Love FTM🌺🎄
