Slow week and what has happened to the sun?

 Hello everyone how are you ?

It has been a bit of a quiet week here and slow as well, Hubby has hurt his leg and is limping which is affecting his ability to get things done , bless him.

We have been doing little bits and bobs but at this time of the year there is not that much left to do at the allotments. They have literally been put to bed for the year. Its too damp and the ground is wet through. We have harvested what we can for this year. Its going to be a lean year veggie wise. We have got no where near what we normally do,but that is the weather for you. Speaking of which has anyone seen the sun? It is grey and chilly almost everyday. I had to have the kitchen light on almost all day on Wednesday. I do hope it comes back soon.

I have been batch cooking making Goulash and meatballs in spaghetti sauce. Yummy. I got 3 tubs of each enough for a meal.

My kitchen smelt like a restaurant by the end of it.

The Tumble Dryer saga is over and i received my like for like replacement which was upgraded for free.

I love it and i spent 2 days catching up with bedding and towels. Its very efficient and does very large loads. We also decided to upgrade some of our appliances as well. 

A lovely new hot water dispenser ..so nice to have a hot cup of tea rather the lukewarm one we were getting for our old one. Also we have been wanting a coffee machine for a long time and finally one came on sale that we both liked and could afford. 

The coffee machine takes several different types of pods so we are not stuck with just one type. I do love a nice coffee.

I have also given my little Moss balls a total upgrade in a bigger tank. I added some gravel and a pump with extras. It is now in the kitchen where i can watch them floating around whilst i wash pots. Some my say Sad but it makes me happy.

I found a few pics from our seaside trip..it was a bit grey but not cold and we had a good day out with chips for lunch.
