The big Clean up

 Hello everyone , how are you today?

Well we have taken down our Christmas tree and decorations and safely stored them away ready for next year.

Over the years we have built up quite a collection of lovely ornaments and baubles so much so that some years we don't get to use them all, which is quite nice as the following year we change them around.

According to people a fake tree doesn't shed needles..really? Ours shed a load all over the place and it took for ever to hoover it all up. My poor fake tree that is actually older than some of my children is beginning to lose needles and is wonky and a bit wobbly in places, the fact remains it will be used until it is bloody bald and falling over. 

It is far quicker to remove decorations than it is to put them up..the clean up afterwards is downright depressing. Who knew cobwebs appeared in a week or two and the dust gathered that quickly😅.

We spent all morning cleaning and dusting and polishing everything so now the house is all back to normal and looks brand new. The girls stowed away all the gifts they received and did the recycling. Hubby took down the ceiling decorations and lights and then put everything away in the top of the airing cupboard.

Today we did all the beds and bathroom..i cleaned the bathroom , hoovered, dusted and washed floors.  I did laundry and got it all dry in tumble drier..i changed my setting to Cupboard Dry and it works perfectly. 

The girls and i went for a walk to Belton..ooh it was lovely to be there. Very windy and it rained but it didn't deter us we loved it.

 Hopefully  we don't have to go shopping for a while apart from milk and bread we are pretty stocked up.
