November,november....

Hello all,how are you today?
What a wet and dull morning it is.Slightly chilly and a total change from the sunshine yesterday.

I spent yesterday sorting the garden..i removed the bedding finally and then emptied all the pots and the flower trough..looks kind of sad and forlorn this morning.
The tree's have turned a gorgeous gold colour and i love to see the leaves blowing across the garden.
We removed the wallflowers..they went to seed and i am hoping by leaving them that the seeds will grow and next year we have some more..the corner looks so big now.
All the bedding has gone from the new flower bed..only lavender and fuschias left..the foxgloves have been cut right back and the heads with seeds were laid down at the back to germinate..next year i want foxgloves all along the back and any that come at the front will unfortunately have to be removed as they tower over the little plants and they just don't grow properly. The reeds from the pond have been cut down and composted..the plant itself has grown and we can see roots pushing out the bucket..
The trellis looks shabby and the trough empty apart from the clematis..i am hoping that as it doesn't have competition now it may grow a little stronger ready for next year.
All the flowers from around the pond have gone..i left some geraniums and some tiny little apline/rockery flowers(no idea what they are) but they have grown and flowered really well.I am hoping they will get bigger and form and kind of wreath around the pond.
 Just look at those colours..
I was being watched by our resident Robin who follows us around the garden on the off chance we have unearthed some tasty for him.
The Grapevine was drastically cut back..all the birds have enjoyed the grapes..we didn't..they were very small and actually a little sour..next year we are not going to let it grow so many bunches and hope that they swell and grow bigger, plumper and sweeter.

So that is the garden for the month..looks so different.
