Busy week..

Hello all,how are you?
Its been a busy week here..2 birthdays within 2 days of each other,family visits and school plus not feeling 100%.
Its strange how birthdays arrive then you settle back down to normal after all the excitement..in this house we have 1 day between and it starts all over again...hectic is not the word.
However,both birthdays were a success and both were very happy with the gifts and also the cakes..one chocolate and one fruit.
The balloons and decoratons will be taken down today and then its the build up to Christmas.
We are not having bought advent calendars this year..instead a litle wooden one with draws will be put out..but the choccys don't fit in the boxes..so a little bowl of choccies will be put next to it.
The weather has played havoc with our plans..we wanted to go to the allotments and pick leeks and some carrots..we have been instead clearing leaves for compost from the garden..great mulch.
I was disappointed i could not get to the allotments as i wanted to take some pictures..i love seeing how it all changes from full of life and vibrant to empty but the sense of waiting for the next years growing to start.
Thankfully the weather has calmed down..we had no damage apart from deadwood being blown across the garden.
We did however see this..we think it has escaped from somewhere as they are not native to here.
It was beautiful but moved before i could capture it in its glory.

Its a golden pheasant.i have not seen it since yesterday morning and i am hoping its ok and has been found.
