What a lovely surprise
Hello all,how are you?
Well i was shocked at the weekend..our chicken who has not laid any eggs for about 2 years has suddenly started laying again..we did wonder why she kept disappearing in the nesting box and when we looked we found at least 6 eggs that had been laid and she was doing another.
So every day since then she has laid us a fresh egg..we stopped looking to be honest as she is nearly 8 years old and thought that was it.
We had some scrambled for tea and wow they are so rich in colour and very tasty..can't believe how much we missed them.Much better than the supermarket ones..and the ones we buy from the farmers market as well.
