Finally the border is covered

Hello again.
As you all know i have major problems with my border at the front being a cat toilet..if they poop in the borders thats no problem as its easily covered but on top of flowers is a no-no.
To stop this we dug out the bed and moved what bulbs and flowers we could..then i put down some weed suppressant..had a huge roll of it on the allotment so no cost there as it was given to my husband by another gardener.
I went to the garden centre and bought 3 bags of Plum slate for £12..which is not a bad price.
The little border is going to get some small Junipers planted in it..i will have to cut through the weed suppressant but i want it to look nice and not plain or boring.
So far it has worked..no cat poop,no nasty smells ..Cost £12.

ps..i am well aware that my shadow makes me look like E.TšŸ˜‰

  1. LOL re your shadow. It does somewhat!
A busy and productive bank holiday by the sound of it and the garden will look fantastic when everything has settled into place.

  2. Good job on the front border. Sometimes it is very hard to stop a cat from using a certain area as their potty.

    God bless.
