Took a bit of my own advice..

Hello all,how are you?
Well i have done what i said and looked around my home to try and refresh it for free.
I found an old shelf that had nothing on it in the spare room..i took it down and my lovely husband cut it to size and made some new wall brackets from old wood. I then gave it 2 coats of white paint and bingo i have a lovely window shelf for my little plants..

 Its set back enough to allow the blind to go up and down and also just low enough so i can open the window..the shelf is not fixed and sits on the wooden brackets..easy to remove when i want to clean the windows..i am hoping my little plants will do well in this sunny spot.

The absolute great thing about this  little project is the price..£0..we had the shelf and paint already .
I have wanted to do this to this window for a long time.
