Yes we did it..

I am so proud of us..Our National Trust yearly subscription was due yesterday..it was £111 for the year..a lot of money by any standards. Yet we have saved and been frugal to pay this.
This is out treat for us as a family..we absolutely love going to Belton House..we spend many hours just wandering around,picnicking ,and just being chilled and relaxed in the woods.
We think it is money well spent..we can go anytime we like and also they have the Horse Trials coming up and for the last 2 years Trust Members have been able to go for free..now that is worth it in itself. The price of the Trials for a family to get in is almost half what we paid for our Trust Membership.

Its an absolutely great weekend..it starts Friday and ends Sunday..lots of horses and events to see..plenty of food as well..it seems to have grown a lot in the last 5 years..now there are plenty of toilets,chairs and catering tents..before there wasn't that much but it seems to be better organized now..
We are looking forward to this year..we couldn't go last year as we all had a tummy bug and other exploding stuff..
