Hello all..
Well its going to be cold and snowy this weekend and guess what ???? our boiler has packed up.
Typical really..we should expect it by now..when it was cold a few years back our boiler packed up than also..
I rang the Councils Emergency Number and was put through to the Gas Department..thankfully they are coming tomorrow..the house is warm enough for now..we all have thick pj's and housecoats..extra blankets are out just incase we feel chilly.
We are pretty lucky as in that we still have an Immersion Heater in the airing cupboard and can have hot water..we also have Electric fires if push comes to shove..but that won't happen unless its absolutely freezing when we get up..they are pretty expensive to have on..we also have an oil filled radiator..so pretty lucky all in all. And besides it won't kill us for one night not to have any heating.
