We have lift off..

Hello all..how are you today..its wet,miserable and grey..yet there was a brilliant and beautiful moment today.
Our very own Tim Peake finally lived his life long dream to become an Astronaut..we took a break from school work to watch it..it was breath taking.A truly magical and inspirational moment in anyone's life.
The girls watched in silence as the rocket blasted off and then watched more as the booster rockets ejected and we could see inside the capsule itself thanks to camera in there.
It was great to see it and even better when we saw him give the thumbs up..

Well done Tim and i hope that you totally enjoy your time in space among the stars.
We will watch the Stargazing Special later today..
I bet his family are so proud and also relieved that it all went to plan.
