He has been for a consultation and then quite quickly an appointment was made and his biopsy was scheduled. Things didn't go to plan for this and the Surgeon ended up taking all of it in the end. He came home with a huge bandage and 28 stitches. Over the next few days he got black eyes and swelling. Poor chap turned every colour of the rainbow, he is now on the mend and the stitches have been removed, however he is sore and it does bleed a little when he bends down.</p><p>Here is the after pic.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuGD9GQ66YqB06l5YFORq4diN3lOAd6rccS8qqWQXd5Y2yoGIOafccpenIG3lSQiKAAhSMlwkdDC82iuksIsvu6mSiNxuQnfzrffMPGfOqosIBzkYztcmL8v-7Wh6tmr0l8MyKSZSkyTBpA2YSSl6f_WJuU73YaLcAqiiM4-OhmWsqtZIuoQru-mIv-P4/s2592/IMG_20240301_140018.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2592" data-original-width="1944" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuGD9GQ66YqB06l5YFORq4diN3lOAd6rccS8qqWQXd5Y2yoGIOafccpenIG3lSQiKAAhSMlwkdDC82iuksIsvu6mSiNxuQnfzrffMPGfOqosIBzkYztcmL8v-7Wh6tmr0l8MyKSZSkyTBpA2YSSl6f_WJuU73YaLcAqiiM4-OhmWsqtZIuoQru-mIv-P4/s320/IMG_20240301_140018.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><br /><p>He has also been for his Cystoscopy to check his bladder..they did find 2 small areas of concern and want to see him again in 4 months. It has been worrying for us all and now we just have to wait for his Biopsy results. Fingers crossed for us folks. The poor chap has been through the wringer and doesn't need bad news. He never moans and has still had to go to work throughout his operations and treatment. Bloody legend that man is and we all love him so much. It makes me a little angry that there is no help financially for us and he has had 3 days off work in total , when he needed more time to recuperate from it all. But we are going to power through and overcome this.</p><p>We are waiting for the weather to vastly improve so we can all get up the Allotments. Our Seed Potatoes are chitting away and hubby has started off seedlings in the greenhouse. We have to make sure that his wound doesn't get dirty so its little and often for him.</p><p>We have cut the grass twice so far this year and we also have Frog Spawn in the pond..the fish keep coming to the surface on a sunny day and then whoosh they are gone down the depths again overnight.</p><p>I have been doing my living room up do..using the last of my beautiful green paint. We decided to put the T.V on the wall to give my plants more room.</p><p>I think it looks good..we do have some white shelves to put up so my tiny plants are safe. I did buy some new storage boxes in green that matched my wall. </p><p>What do you think?</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSdh53zB3yqJ4LRFsZikjoPQwQGkWl_0i-k9PKhQKJybfzscw7my4VOEWplSuDmWPXKjUvnBDSxylQeO9igPPUeMERJhynnU-HmA3Aevihh3RutmG_xEl43jhvdHGK5qFtijmPspYfRJqeWKaWUCIHi8lvwLodj7f9AYH8Gf4H-vqB8fOBwrVny0BdXDc/s2592/IMG_20240301_102230.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2592" data-original-width="1944" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSdh53zB3yqJ4LRFsZikjoPQwQGkWl_0i-k9PKhQKJybfzscw7my4VOEWplSuDmWPXKjUvnBDSxylQeO9igPPUeMERJhynnU-HmA3Aevihh3RutmG_xEl43jhvdHGK5qFtijmPspYfRJqeWKaWUCIHi8lvwLodj7f9AYH8Gf4H-vqB8fOBwrVny0BdXDc/s320/IMG_20240301_102230.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><br /><p>We are waiting for the screws to arrive for the shelves. And then its done, i do have some idea to have some vintage style gold framed pictures stood up at the back but we will see if i can find some cheap in the charity shops but have you seen the prices in them these days, its shocking at times.</p><p>In other news we have finally cut the cord with Sky..our broadband down load speed was so slow and took literally forever to load in , i got fed up with films buffering at times so we switched and i can't recommend them enough.. We have gone toYouFibre and its fast people , for £ 32.99 a month we get 1000gb..and only £3 for a phone line. I did have emails and phones call from SKY trying to get me to stay with them but they couldn't offer me it any cheaper so i am now Sky less and have a bit more money in my pocket, not that it will last long the way things are going with prices.</p><p>I have had to have the Council back to my front door again. This time the handle was coming off..thing is i have not long had it done in fact just before Christmas they came and fixed it. Now i have a new door handle and lock with one key, tomorrow i have to go and get 3 more keys cut as one just won't go around the family. Wonder how much that is going to cost.</p><p>I have been frugalling through the Pantry and freezers, baking and mending bits and bobs. We are going to Aldi next week to stock up on tinned goods and packets like rice, noodles and maybe meat for the freezer if its cheaper or on offer. I have made Jam Swirls and used up my leftover Mincemeat to make Swirls with them. I found a wonderful recipe for Sticky Honey Chicken..its gorgeous and made in the slow cooker..also Sticky Beef is the same recipe. I don't use Chicken Breast for this but Chicken Thighs that have been boned..it just takes a little time to prep them but they almost fall to bits after cooking , they are much cheaper than breast at the moment. Delicious served with rice and veg. I made some Frikalders with a very little pork mince parcel i found in the freezer..enough for 3 of us to enjoy. My son brought home freebies from his place of work, pizzas, cakes ,strawberries and huge bunches of flowers which i shared with friends. </p><p>So i think that is me all caught up for now.</p><p>Sorry i left it for so long but to be honest i was a little stressed and worried about everything and just didn't have the inclination to do much else apart from day to day things. Hopefully things can now improve for us as a family and life can get back to some normality.</p><p>Take care everyone</p><p>Love FTM🌺</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p>flowertotmumhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03498443996707884535noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1372556731256780908.post-11699540209353603182024-01-01T14:51:00.000+00:002024-01-01T14:51:11.398+00:00Good bye 2023..<p> Hello all, how are you?</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQbBqUQrhQJYsW8AqO4kXjFS9LyoR_CoDMIw4MBfQICHslzR24zgC6eWmu5mNDAke8eyiF6kwb8By5ThV_FPjUj0K4SDOk22EnhKMjICGcg8w0da6eiDW3e3ZnYKFM4ZRzJw6K36tGp00URMv7yhPrRlNuTThUrwKyvj4X74vT77e8FELyvGfC1Jv59l4/s474/OIP.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="474" data-original-width="474" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQbBqUQrhQJYsW8AqO4kXjFS9LyoR_CoDMIw4MBfQICHslzR24zgC6eWmu5mNDAke8eyiF6kwb8By5ThV_FPjUj0K4SDOk22EnhKMjICGcg8w0da6eiDW3e3ZnYKFM4ZRzJw6K36tGp00URMv7yhPrRlNuTThUrwKyvj4X74vT77e8FELyvGfC1Jv59l4/s320/OIP.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p><p>The thing i didn't want for us as a family was a kick in the teeth for the last day of the year. Seems no one was listening as my son's car broke down as he was on his way home from work last night. The AA came and took him to a garage then brought him home. That is the very last thing he needed bless him. </p><p>So 2023 is done thank god. Hoping this year will be a better one.</p><p>I wish you all a very happy and healthy 2024.</p><p>Love FTM🌺</p><p><br /></p>flowertotmumhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03498443996707884535noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1372556731256780908.post-47287075512214185832023-12-30T17:47:00.000+00:002023-12-30T17:47:06.736+00:00Batten down the hatches..<div style="text-align: left;"> Hello everyone.</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">Have you seen the news?</div><div style="text-align: left;">It seems we are in a Tornado zone with the weather that is coming in on us.</div><div style="text-align: left;">So please everyone stay safe .</div><div style="text-align: left;">We have screwed shut the greenhouse doors and moved stuff that could get blown about.</div><div style="text-align: left;">I know its to early to panic but i was gobsmacked about the one that hit Manchester earlier this week.</div><div style="text-align: left;">Kind of worrying.</div><div style="text-align: left;">Please stay safe everyone.</div><div style="text-align: left;">Love</div><div style="text-align: left;">FTM🌺</div>flowertotmumhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03498443996707884535noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1372556731256780908.post-22645987227432513092023-12-30T17:42:00.001+00:002023-12-30T17:42:41.356+00:00Unexpected expense..<div style="text-align: left;"> Hello everyone , how are you all?</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">Well everything is ok here apart from having to buy a very expensive new Electric Bike for my husband.</div><div style="text-align: left;">All i can say is</div><div style="text-align: left;">1, thank the lord we had the money</div><div style="text-align: left;">2, please let this be the last surprise of this year, i don't think i could take much more.</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">My husband has an Electric bike to get to and from work. Its an essential for him, he bikes 4 miles there and the same home, so when it got blown over in the wind it was devastating and our son had to go and pick his dad and the bike. The control box is not working and has a funny smell come out of it when the power is switched on. His other older Electric Bike was used , thankfully we kept it as a spare, but last night on his way home he heard a loud pop and he assumed the tyre had gone no it was actual wheel coming apart. So we spent time this morning looking to try and get it repaired or replaced. The cost of both was almost the same price as buying a new bike. So we took the plunge and bought a brand new one with insurance. </div><div style="text-align: left;">Most of my husbands flat tyre's come from smashed glass on the road and pot holes. We went a bit more expensive and got a bike with better trye's that are affordable to replace.</div><div style="text-align: left;">So please no more paying out for this year . I have had enough.</div><div style="text-align: left;">Take care everyone</div><div style="text-align: left;">Love FTM🌺</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div>flowertotmumhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03498443996707884535noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1372556731256780908.post-39046199301450577692023-12-27T17:42:00.000+00:002023-12-27T17:42:25.103+00:00Back to normalish..<div style="text-align: left;"> Hello everyone, how are you today?</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">Well my husband is back to work today and my son is back in on Friday..its that awkward bit in between Christmas and New Year. Life is kinda normal with decorations and sparkly lights.. I did laundry and we had left over ham with chips and beans for lunch . Everywhere has been cleaned and vacuumed. The chocolates and biscuits are all stacked up and ready to be either devoured or put away to be eaten later on. We have no left over Turkey it was delicious and disappeared on Christmas day. My husband was gifted a lovely fresh Turkey Crown from his workplace and a very nice bottle of wine as well. He has never had such a gift from any where he has worked, so now i have 2 frozen Crowns in the freezer that i bought before we knew about the gift. I feel very blessed by that.</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">It has been an absolutely miserable and windy day here, i have had to have lamps on to lift the gloom. </div><div style="text-align: left;">There was a plan for me and the girls to go shopping but it has been cancelled until better weather is on the horizon. I heard on the news that we could have power cuts, so i have checked our big battery powered lamps and got candles at the ready , hopefully not needed but you never know.</div><div style="text-align: left;">Discussions have taken place about when to take down all the Christmas decorations..i think New Years Eve is good. Start the New Year all clean and fresh. There is an old tradition of opening the doors to let the old year out and new one in, i feel after the year we have had i want to open every door and window to let all the worry and fear blow away and hope blow its way in.</div><div style="text-align: left;">For now i am taking advantage of the lazy days and cozy evenings, reading my book and cuddled up in my comfy pj's.</div><div style="text-align: left;">Take care all</div><div style="text-align: left;">Love FTM🌺</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div>flowertotmumhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03498443996707884535noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1372556731256780908.post-90389687464528396672023-12-26T11:17:00.000+00:002023-12-26T11:17:48.325+00:00Happy Boxing Day..<p> Hello everyone, what are plans for today?</p><p>The day after the big day is always a chilled out day for us.</p><p>Yesterday was hectic as usual and lots of ooh's and ahh's over gifts given and received.</p><p>Dinner was amazing thanks to hubby and Christmas Pudding was delicious thanks to Asda. Plenty of food , chocolates and a buffet for tea. We were all totally stuffed and ready for chilling out, we did watch the new Mario movie i loved it, of course a box of chocolates was devoured whilst watching.</p><p>I had a relaxing evening reading one of my new books i received before Christmas i cannot put it down so gripping and nerve tingling.</p><p>Today it will be a quick tidy up and a buffet lunch then a family quiz plus some games. </p><p>Me and the girls are going to choose a day to pop into town to spend some money we received, i have my eye on some bits in B&M, hopefully they will be in the sale.</p><p>Hope you all have a lovely day.</p><div style="text-align: left;">Love </div><div style="text-align: left;">FTM🌺</div>flowertotmumhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03498443996707884535noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1372556731256780908.post-14192396629077280992023-12-24T13:18:00.002+00:002023-12-24T13:18:22.191+00:00<p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJh9tRxeKzh9qK5wW90Qlw9IqWpDfaPIUKQlbqTAeS1wCWomFWwf7yF4r4RPvreuSyhRa4h5xEPFstqX9zZaa1OZRpqIFFgG1GqwvI5CCM4O6g4HNCzGVLsZFVaDpoJvJXpTPZhCvXyIQb3IXH_do2itVN80re8HLJXtXTszNi1cMwnaNxQvncBIqXkLI/s660/2014_merry_christmas-1920x1200-660x330.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="330" data-original-width="660" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJh9tRxeKzh9qK5wW90Qlw9IqWpDfaPIUKQlbqTAeS1wCWomFWwf7yF4r4RPvreuSyhRa4h5xEPFstqX9zZaa1OZRpqIFFgG1GqwvI5CCM4O6g4HNCzGVLsZFVaDpoJvJXpTPZhCvXyIQb3IXH_do2itVN80re8HLJXtXTszNi1cMwnaNxQvncBIqXkLI/w400-h200/2014_merry_christmas-1920x1200-660x330.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br /><p></p>flowertotmumhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03498443996707884535noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1372556731256780908.post-66362166616689029542023-12-24T13:05:00.000+00:002023-12-24T13:05:09.863+00:00Christmas love it or hate it.<p> Hello everyone..how are you?</p><p>Well that certainly divided opinion didn't it?</p><p>I totally understand that for some Christmas is just not for them and i am not one to push my love of it on to others. If you don't like it then you don't like it and i for one agree that everyone is entitled to their own feelings and thoughts on it. I do not push it and certainly would not send cards to some one who doesn't want them . Christmas is not for everyone. Just because i love it does not mean i will force you or anyone else to live it. It is your life and up to you . Equally on my side please don't be a moaner about it, i respect your decision so please respect mine. There everyone is happy. Easy. You do you and i will do me.</p><p>My decorations and tree are up. We haven't gone over the top this year but it still looks lovely and festive.</p><div style="text-align: left;">The gifts are wrapped and ready to be ripped open. I did buy paper with no glitter so we can compost it.</div><div style="text-align: left;">I have sent my cards and a small fortune it cost as well. I have baked mince pies and Grantham Ginger Biscuits. The girls made Chocolate cookies. The Turkey is ready to go and i am just making Pancakes for tomorrow breakfast.</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;">I want to Thank everyone for their lovely thoughts and prayers for my husband on his Cancer battle. Unfortunately he has now been diagnosed with Pre Cancerous Skin Cells on his head. He is seeing a consultant in the New Year and a date for an op will be set then. He has had a bloody rough year and we are keeping our fingers crossed that the next one will be better for him.</div><div style="text-align: left;">I am going to have some relaxing days and chilled out evenings.</div><div style="text-align: left;">Love to you all</div><div style="text-align: left;">FTM🌺</div><div style="text-align: left;"><br /></div>flowertotmumhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03498443996707884535noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1372556731256780908.post-5610273038746061352023-12-03T13:08:00.000+00:002023-12-03T13:08:36.843+00:00Does your Family have that one person..<p> Hello everyone, how are you all?</p><p>Welcome to December .</p><p>Very chilly and snowy here today and starting to get foggy again. Thankfully the snow is melting a little and some very immature person has been throwing snowballs at the dining room window , ok yes it was me😁. You got to have some fun.</p><p>So in our house Christmas is not for a few days its a whole month of Christmas. Very slowly the decorations start to appear and my little bits and bobs get dusted off and it slowly takes over the house. We don't put up the rest until 12 days before Christmas day and that is our thing we always have and always will do it this way. I love to see other peoples decorations and get a little giddy looking at them.</p><p>I have a new Christmas tablecloth and Advent Candle, plus i got out the placemats and coasters and did it all while hubby was at work so when he came home it was Surprise!!. Christmas has started.</p><p>Our little family absolutely love this time of year and my older girls already have their trees up and they all look gorgeous, but there is always one, we have a Christmas Hater in the family. </p><p>Every year no matter what we all get told that this person hates Christmas, its a waste of time and they are not putting up decorations for 2 days. Wishing the month away and waiting for January. Every year i am not even surprised anymore by this person and i truly wish i had the nerve to not send a card or gift to this person seeing as they hate it so much...but that would be petty right? And i am not a petty person😇. However i do get tired of this rhetoric every year..not sure they mean it or are just saying it to be the center of attention. They actually start this in October time. But what ever their reason i do not need to hear it year after year after year..we get it so stop rolling your eyes and snorting when its mentioned , just because you don't like it doesn't mean we cannot enjoy it. The paint is flaking off in places and it needs some TLC desperately. But for now a good clean down and wash will have to do.</p><p>So here it what it looked like before, excuse the pictures i had to do with my phone</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOVy_MCuHYHuWGqu3Ph8RdRjJ3qb2f0yt3aIAr1w9nRWnc5BklQdLM6dVqsdFhWfr85kTRSSOsUqLqLEO37ZSdgY0ochRATd7uC1M87J0jGHIIyJPNw6WI9hUFvr3RQ6jPQMiM-pN5a1JUqWmqKm6TKpKf7kevOT3kc1PbuF0l1epad24yhQFkh2IVYd0/s2592/IMG_20231121_103628.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2592" data-original-width="1944" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOVy_MCuHYHuWGqu3Ph8RdRjJ3qb2f0yt3aIAr1w9nRWnc5BklQdLM6dVqsdFhWfr85kTRSSOsUqLqLEO37ZSdgY0ochRATd7uC1M87J0jGHIIyJPNw6WI9hUFvr3RQ6jPQMiM-pN5a1JUqWmqKm6TKpKf7kevOT3kc1PbuF0l1epad24yhQFkh2IVYd0/s320/IMG_20231121_103628.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>We put up Marbled Paper on the back so it looks like we have a back plate to match the hearth.<div>The mirror got 2 coats of the gorgeous green the same as my bookcase wall and i rearranged the ornaments and hubby put up a hook for my hanging plant.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgA61jTvaQIKlKRx5Be1cyJfFJGT8z9p_6MYAkmaVN7Ggc7QDyvWTHSHcJuEdAIPdDx7oKpT0frrJOk-1FdX-i-mIXD-Ue5yR3x2sFLIw3D80lqCN4hYcFPDbgipw3Mmluv1tfpx2qRERaULFEUUdsMdPHcOhXDAQ8MpRGSvTJG4wshhA7LGVxRicdgkNA/s2592/IMG_20231122_140056.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2592" data-original-width="1944" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgA61jTvaQIKlKRx5Be1cyJfFJGT8z9p_6MYAkmaVN7Ggc7QDyvWTHSHcJuEdAIPdDx7oKpT0frrJOk-1FdX-i-mIXD-Ue5yR3x2sFLIw3D80lqCN4hYcFPDbgipw3Mmluv1tfpx2qRERaULFEUUdsMdPHcOhXDAQ8MpRGSvTJG4wshhA7LGVxRicdgkNA/s320/IMG_20231122_140056.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><br /><p>I think it looks nice and fresh.</p><p>Maybe not to everyone's taste but i love it.</p><p>Have a lovely day.</p><p>Love FTM🌺</p><p><br /></p></div>flowertotmumhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03498443996707884535noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1372556731256780908.post-7367565571970220652023-11-25T11:16:00.002+00:002023-11-25T11:16:48.061+00:00Swedish Pancakes with home made Chocolate Sauce.<p> Hello everyone.</p><p>The cold weather is here with a vengeance and its time to have something warm and yummy for breakfast.</p><p>Porridge is one of our faves also waffles, croissants and pancakes. But they are getting more and more expensive to even have them as a treat so out came my recipe book and a look on a website for Swedish Pancakes. Honestly they are delicious and easy. I made a huge batch and will fridge them for breakfasts. I don't think they will last long.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinpoqlOQghxnAYjKwO69W4awNPQvUHysAgBToAZWW6jhZZn1Ot74JhsPxBMnTs8tVf_kBmuG5v4069HI1lt9LXqBsOEkambe-seJgENwqewOHAetUbDu2A9Ir1QvVsaMJQEK8CxrHlFjppoPxKsdWVNaztEtXtC03NpTIj_t9lIL9do0cAuyKGISLbb3U/s2592/IMG_20231124_144520.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2592" data-original-width="1944" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinpoqlOQghxnAYjKwO69W4awNPQvUHysAgBToAZWW6jhZZn1Ot74JhsPxBMnTs8tVf_kBmuG5v4069HI1lt9LXqBsOEkambe-seJgENwqewOHAetUbDu2A9Ir1QvVsaMJQEK8CxrHlFjppoPxKsdWVNaztEtXtC03NpTIj_t9lIL9do0cAuyKGISLbb3U/s320/IMG_20231124_144520.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><br /><p>The Chocolate sauce was the easiest thing i have ever made and you get a nice little tub of it which will keep for 5 days in the fridge once cooled.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_zsZ7z-vGbl5-LzWGVJ7ajjKUy2Y_gr3CFu03eLTIIUUFtjhe7T-sgyqUH30eykIdXuS-6AR8ZCA9quVo4gBP44IGaI31lI7435uANBD-0RYzrMB0O3z8wtay5JF8SexZ8yjvOh8WpdDhHc5duU8zv60edHZWp-SnV46BFn3y4LIHmyExMKPxKRqoj6U/s2592/IMG_20231124_144535.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2592" data-original-width="1944" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_zsZ7z-vGbl5-LzWGVJ7ajjKUy2Y_gr3CFu03eLTIIUUFtjhe7T-sgyqUH30eykIdXuS-6AR8ZCA9quVo4gBP44IGaI31lI7435uANBD-0RYzrMB0O3z8wtay5JF8SexZ8yjvOh8WpdDhHc5duU8zv60edHZWp-SnV46BFn3y4LIHmyExMKPxKRqoj6U/s320/IMG_20231124_144535.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><br /><p>We spread a little over the pancakes and warm in the microwave for a few minutes..delicious and so easy.</p><p>If you want the recipe then let me know and i will post it.</p><p>Have a lovely day.</p><p>Love FTM🌺</p>flowertotmumhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03498443996707884535noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1372556731256780908.post-24695212103560659272023-11-25T11:07:00.001+00:002023-11-25T11:07:06.834+00:00I made Icecream.<p> Hello everyone.</p><p>Like i said in my previous post i was going to make Jamie Oliver's No Churn Ice cream.</p><p>I made it and it is so flipping easy. I got the double cream from Asda and also the Condensed Milk at a £1 a tin so i got 2 one for now and one for later.</p><p>Honestly the ice cream is so easy and there was a lot of it as well, next time i am going to halve the ingredients. The mixture filled a 1lb loaf tin. We all had a thick slice and i still had quite a bit left.</p><p>It would be a massive party hit and it does serve 12.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbt5m4geNR31FCiO2WkNVNJsyxcM3VBVMF_rJeTKsJS_xuILYzwqHnSGeh1IriMxo1wI3GfRndfTSOKhl3H2KwsihLkzxV3UhyphenhyphenqHXPElmZ4bzXh32QavX79qwi6yuHYtOJuraULxUj6bNk62nTm7sEuOi7MFuVsfotC5VeSlie-kl3vLpmQNnwU3siqt0/s2592/IMG_20231122_124939%20-%20Copy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2592" data-original-width="1944" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbt5m4geNR31FCiO2WkNVNJsyxcM3VBVMF_rJeTKsJS_xuILYzwqHnSGeh1IriMxo1wI3GfRndfTSOKhl3H2KwsihLkzxV3UhyphenhyphenqHXPElmZ4bzXh32QavX79qwi6yuHYtOJuraULxUj6bNk62nTm7sEuOi7MFuVsfotC5VeSlie-kl3vLpmQNnwU3siqt0/s320/IMG_20231122_124939%20-%20Copy.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEheySxmSDTHvCt55b8VPJ71er0uRAgLNYaqJ0zLg3tGYdhj0AOnX5qkuTrqEGvS_3ZRzx2EtjD5pu73OiWC5e3xy34sjF17-fyIo9atWcK_DhyXnlyQ-oEv_I_LCOfdnBtAQPjZimAAYyOGk4ju713evBkS8-ckoA5_FrJmanseNGRligSIcIRtam9DW_g/s2592/IMG_20231122_125215.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2592" data-original-width="1944" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEheySxmSDTHvCt55b8VPJ71er0uRAgLNYaqJ0zLg3tGYdhj0AOnX5qkuTrqEGvS_3ZRzx2EtjD5pu73OiWC5e3xy34sjF17-fyIo9atWcK_DhyXnlyQ-oEv_I_LCOfdnBtAQPjZimAAYyOGk4ju713evBkS8-ckoA5_FrJmanseNGRligSIcIRtam9DW_g/s320/IMG_20231122_125215.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>I re wrapped in clingfilm and put back in the loaf tin and put it back in the freezer and we will finish it this weekend. I didn't have any Aero or lighter chocolates so i used the cheap dark chocolate from Asda and smashed it up . Hubby is clear of Prostate Cancer. You have no idea just how relieved we are. Its one less thing to worry about. Now we just have to concentrate on his Bladder Cancer and that is under treatment.</p><p>We had a celebration fry up breakfast this morning, not much but it was so good. Mood in the house is much lighter and we are just so happy.</p><p>Thank you everyone who left a message.</p><p>Have a great day.</p><p>Love FTM🌺</p>flowertotmumhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03498443996707884535noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1372556731256780908.post-58539227833137023492023-11-19T17:16:00.000+00:002023-11-19T17:16:01.654+00:00Bookcase up do..<p> Hello everyone , how are you all?</p><p>So as i told you i had been busy painting my bookcase, not the shelves but the wall behind it. I personally thought it looked a bit bland , hubby disagreed and wanted to leave it but i persisted and bought the paint and then spent 4 days of my life doing the most awkward painting you have ever seen. Each shelf needed 2 coats and there was no room to maneuver at all. I was almost over joyed when i got a full run of paint instead of having to be careful and not get the paint on my shelves which i then spent ages wiping off. I had bruises on my elbows and i found out that i am not as flexible as i once was and i am sure that i am shrinking. I had to stand on tiptoes on my little step up to reach the very top and to be honest i couldn't see what i was doing half the time so it must be abit hit and miss on the top shelves but hey no one can see it and it looks good from where i am standing.</p><p>So here is before..</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgf7xWwjEwgZiloZa5Bnx10nU45mAVT4gDXs7p4XMxheIOi35c6Lb06C-QgyLF9CFBBFnlkWl1KHG8BNWk5g9JUybHySll6TB8K1J4bidBazxgVWtJNvALZ5oVf-7uXGLyPy0M5nRr_uD-HgqzQ_xfZwK76_K1i-FF1nFsQUf9ndBqkSWJ2MtKN3Q6fgrg/s2592/IMG_20230926_140156.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2592" data-original-width="1944" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgf7xWwjEwgZiloZa5Bnx10nU45mAVT4gDXs7p4XMxheIOi35c6Lb06C-QgyLF9CFBBFnlkWl1KHG8BNWk5g9JUybHySll6TB8K1J4bidBazxgVWtJNvALZ5oVf-7uXGLyPy0M5nRr_uD-HgqzQ_xfZwK76_K1i-FF1nFsQUf9ndBqkSWJ2MtKN3Q6fgrg/s320/IMG_20230926_140156.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><br /><p>During..</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNiXRqv5EE2bfxbEaI6jE1NyyRYAiXKg2mQW213QFByka2XPa8qdCmzA5iRaP38RfsQ66jjBNCIpGRpbyA1l0hCVFokWglUGYbgHiQI4AdOcf-xMSlrxchgvdHhBM1r8nkysc_O8JQvetJyl0dB96vvKBThEm4Oo8rIhNY5oPzS6NdPoJn2lwC-Gy2tvM/s2592/IMG_20231025_143758.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2592" data-original-width="1944" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhNiXRqv5EE2bfxbEaI6jE1NyyRYAiXKg2mQW213QFByka2XPa8qdCmzA5iRaP38RfsQ66jjBNCIpGRpbyA1l0hCVFokWglUGYbgHiQI4AdOcf-xMSlrxchgvdHhBM1r8nkysc_O8JQvetJyl0dB96vvKBThEm4Oo8rIhNY5oPzS6NdPoJn2lwC-Gy2tvM/s320/IMG_20231025_143758.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjswpJRHSNUinD9GGAJrK5muZslToTAiYGTIEzFdJqsNBYEJkhyDgNsotXR9bDt5vXdUzalGC3-L6bahEb8oAKRu_Mv5S3dasqThzZOXU2WUOcwt6mWw0x01P5Y46q119lMt2LhyE-2SPV88TVFpSvKKD3_1j5Q0NyAc2zHRVJCLgcGNDUE4NU4eDE_IlE/s2592/IMG_20231025_184843.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2592" data-original-width="1944" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjswpJRHSNUinD9GGAJrK5muZslToTAiYGTIEzFdJqsNBYEJkhyDgNsotXR9bDt5vXdUzalGC3-L6bahEb8oAKRu_Mv5S3dasqThzZOXU2WUOcwt6mWw0x01P5Y46q119lMt2LhyE-2SPV88TVFpSvKKD3_1j5Q0NyAc2zHRVJCLgcGNDUE4NU4eDE_IlE/s320/IMG_20231025_184843.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><br /><p>And finally all done..</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5ghGPSqtems1CJdcOLI3LmjzkJO2GeOOgYWyUqdxoO9YSYeJBQMbaWWauVesb6obyBetUswPi1GY9-H9sdRxMBSpo1TAgNT3Vb4eIXDkj9E0B-SIQw_vC3E8xv5dokf0wftdD9pECOXffS-f5_qypZh-9W_lIzHXEPCjJ44RnxdlzKfSJJdh87TDyqOY/s2592/IMG_20231103_121108%20(1).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2592" data-original-width="1944" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5ghGPSqtems1CJdcOLI3LmjzkJO2GeOOgYWyUqdxoO9YSYeJBQMbaWWauVesb6obyBetUswPi1GY9-H9sdRxMBSpo1TAgNT3Vb4eIXDkj9E0B-SIQw_vC3E8xv5dokf0wftdD9pECOXffS-f5_qypZh-9W_lIzHXEPCjJ44RnxdlzKfSJJdh87TDyqOY/s320/IMG_20231103_121108%20(1).jpg" width="240" /></a></div>I took the opportunity to have a clear out as well..10 books have gone. I know it's only 10 but they are half of Simon's and the others were mine. It is not a big amount but at least its a start. I rearranged them into groups and same authors as well. Forgive the sofa looking messy but the dog was getting all excited and jumping all over it.<div>I have started to Catalogue them and so far have only done one end section. Its a lot to do but every time i get 5 minutes i do a section.</div><div>The paint is from B&Q and its called Ballina. A beautiful green. To be honest i only bought a small tin and have half left for any touch ups or for elsewhere in the house.<br /><p> I personally think it just makes the shelves stand out and adds and extra bit of warmth to the wall itself, rather than being white and in my view impersonal. This way its my beautiful bookcase and full of books i adore and will read and read again.</p><p>Take care all</p><p>FTM🌺</p></div>flowertotmumhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03498443996707884535noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1372556731256780908.post-51711296265838788882023-11-14T16:33:00.000+00:002023-11-14T16:33:34.209+00:00It's that time of year again.<p> Hello everyone, how are you ?</p><p>It's getting to that time of year and we all know what i mean CHRISTMAS🎄🎅.</p><p>I have seen more than enough adverts thank you. I think that some shops and supermarkets have totally lost touch with the fact that a majority of families are really struggling to just get through every week without added pressure of showing us what we need. Most of us just need some extra money or the very least supermarkets bringing all the grocery prices down to the normal affordable level. I don't appreciate being bombarded and i am pretty sure struggling families don't either. We are reducing our Christmas lists and food shops. The girls are amazing , we asked them to write a list of things they would like and between them both it's about 12 things..and all are budget friendly. I couldn't ask for 2 more considerate girls, they understand the current situation both at home and the financial crisis going on. Wonderful.</p><p>My grocery list for shopping will consist of a few extra treats for us and that is most probably it. We already have a Turkey, our son got us that when they came in at Sainsbury's and used his staff discount to make it cheaper. I have some cards and wrapping paper left from last year and i will try extremely hard to not buy new decorations, maybe just one to add to the collection.</p><p>Hubby is healing well from his Prostate biopsies, 19 they took altogether bless him. The bruise is a landmark and still tender, he is just so easily tired out as well. We are now waiting for the results from that. Its the waiting that really messes with you, your mind always goes worst case scenario and then the panic sets in. Bloody awful feeling.</p><p>I have been meal planning my ass off so we use what we have and also i did download all of Jamie Olivers £1 meals , some look gorgeous and some not so good for us. I printed them off and put in my big Recipe folder. I will definitely be trying quite a few of them especially the No Churn Ice Cream.</p><p>I have put up the big door curtains and swapped over duvets. We have had the heating on a few times as Simon feels the cold at the moment. We have also invested in some mini dehumidifiers.. they don't run on electric but have a huge absorbent stone in them which should last 4 months. And the refills are not too expensive either. He has a low grade Cancer. The tumor has been removed and his Chemo worked. He still has Cancer. For now they are going to monitor and manage. Unfortunately they have discovered dark marks on his Prostate when he had his MRI and so will be doing a biopsy on Thursday this week ,those results will not be here for 3-4 weeks.</p><p>They also told him they will remove any tumors that reappear immediately, he will be checked every 3 months for the forseeable.</p><p>So at the moment we are relieved the tumor is gone but concerned about the cancer and also his prostate.</p><p>The consultant and his nurse were lovely and we were given Macmillan leaflets and information for us to read through in our own time.</p><p>For now we are just concentrating on building hubby up and trying to carry on as normal.</p><p>Thanks to everyone who left a message.</p><p>love Ftm🌺</p>flowertotmumhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03498443996707884535noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1372556731256780908.post-38589020268102988272023-10-31T15:40:00.003+00:002023-10-31T15:40:41.227+00:00Happy Halloween..<p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgD1_dBXdLyS9B7jlCQWeHMmJp54qFL0rXaRDpd3HZUdNROgi3AfZ_8IQSFEzM1FIp4A42VxTNqZzvYf42r1zdJji1YfYnF6Ht7uUf3T1G-FDMnYWfusMS91ovyhr2ZRlXi2yupxdyG4iLhbXbTgmAXiEA_UytVP1Ek2KYFIu1cewzN-LDFeonwa7h44ec/s2592/IMG_20231030_154817.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2592" data-original-width="1944" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgD1_dBXdLyS9B7jlCQWeHMmJp54qFL0rXaRDpd3HZUdNROgi3AfZ_8IQSFEzM1FIp4A42VxTNqZzvYf42r1zdJji1YfYnF6Ht7uUf3T1G-FDMnYWfusMS91ovyhr2ZRlXi2yupxdyG4iLhbXbTgmAXiEA_UytVP1Ek2KYFIu1cewzN-LDFeonwa7h44ec/s320/IMG_20231030_154817.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEie1Y44f_LLJP7I_I6gFzPT91HvloJbrIIrPXzTrNH71akMbUh7Ihlef914MgFloNvkqgnQJzxQhVjwigoL-RYoQkTkDrIcJItTuDX-SlTXy3RA26BgykhXFjOlf0AW14SsYBCbK3Fm9D3AmLg36FGBdBlTYsRdeY03CVRRYssjdcMIEMXkn-L70C7fg1A/s2592/IMG_20231030_153847.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2592" data-original-width="1944" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEie1Y44f_LLJP7I_I6gFzPT91HvloJbrIIrPXzTrNH71akMbUh7Ihlef914MgFloNvkqgnQJzxQhVjwigoL-RYoQkTkDrIcJItTuDX-SlTXy3RA26BgykhXFjOlf0AW14SsYBCbK3Fm9D3AmLg36FGBdBlTYsRdeY03CVRRYssjdcMIEMXkn-L70C7fg1A/s320/IMG_20231030_153847.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>Happy Halloween folks.<p></p><p>Just look at this beautiful Pumpkin. Within 2 weeks he was in hospital having the tumor removed and has recovered well. Now we are waiting for test results to see if it Malignant or Benign. He has had M.RI.'s and CAT scans plus Ultra sounds and is worn out by it all. However he is feeling much better at the moment.</p><p>Life has certainly thrown us a huge curve ball.</p><p>We are all totally devastated, worried and scared.</p><p>Life is still going on here. My son and daughter have taken over the Allotments and Dad is allowed to go but not do too much. We have had Carrots, Onions, Swede, Potatoes, Cabbages all safely brought home and stored away.</p><p>So if i go missing for a while it is not because i have given up it is really because i am super busy with everything that is going on.</p><p>Thank you all</p><p>Take care </p><p>Love </p><p>FTM🌼</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p>flowertotmumhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03498443996707884535noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1372556731256780908.post-31896805878033620452023-09-01T11:26:00.002+01:002023-09-01T11:26:44.815+01:00September is here..<p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFk9orAuZ5bcyWYA7JoqoO16Clr8NsS5TcUeNX_nVC18SWgV6Nkczkem-SwEYVE3B40JyJFSFq7mUGUCTBGVSuwKG6OFVGT-fKhgNKuK7FhcKroL4CWFrhTruZEam_DKYFE-4rPb-MnhhWnrNRdN63UxySaYOYkWVbWlvREzd9DHb-u69xFf_GV8OER-Y/s2048/R.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2048" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFk9orAuZ5bcyWYA7JoqoO16Clr8NsS5TcUeNX_nVC18SWgV6Nkczkem-SwEYVE3B40JyJFSFq7mUGUCTBGVSuwKG6OFVGT-fKhgNKuK7FhcKroL4CWFrhTruZEam_DKYFE-4rPb-MnhhWnrNRdN63UxySaYOYkWVbWlvREzd9DHb-u69xFf_GV8OER-Y/s320/R.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>Not long to go til the nights draw in even more and we can cosy up inside.<p></p><p>Autumn is coming people.</p><p>Take care all</p><p>FTM🌻🍂</p>flowertotmumhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03498443996707884535noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1372556731256780908.post-9708217314766395372023-08-31T15:51:00.001+01:002023-08-31T15:51:30.143+01:00End of the month..<p> Hello everyone.</p><p>It's the end of August and just exactly where has it gone.</p><p>We have been rushed off our feet with the Allotments producing lots of fruit and veggies. My freezer is reaching capacity and i have to up my game of Jenga to get it all in.</p><p>I have been blanching and sorting it all out nearly every afternoon. I have bags of Green beans, cabbage, beetroots and tomatoes all nestled nicely. Next it will be Carrots and Sweetcorn. The Potatoes will be dug and dried then bagged up in the She Shed for storage, the Onions will be dried and stacked in boxes ready for storing. i have had some Leeks and boy are they pungent but tasty.</p><p>I have bags of Raspberries all ready to go for Jam making. I thin every jam jar in the kingdom is nestling in my storage box. Its huge and very heavy. I do have to admit i pick out the pretty lidded ones for my jam and any jar will do for the Chutney, I suppose it doesn't matter really what it's stored in as long as it tastes good.</p><p>I read once that the more you are self sufficient the more storage you need and they are not wrong. I get lulled into a false sense of security as the food in the freezer goes down and fill it with cakes and puddings only to have to spend a morning resorting it all. I have shelves and boxes all in my back Pantry that i refuse to throw out as the are used for 6 months of the year storing food.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLk0gloRPp6hJ3FFXBFgrymGUYK5478reAx2ZECL2alp_lT4mgFp1aVvRWkyvB7xw728JEKTym_yho2qUEQ2B6AxvhMeMBS1fg8YWRVT_XHkzrtptyd3hmFCZ3n7SyrcIFi_o2LFJ6L2MpuR20byFzvt3vEYpKbd0UqH6ba6RGL8FIbaKsE2JeVhIx-3E/s640/GEDC8371.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="480" data-original-width="640" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLk0gloRPp6hJ3FFXBFgrymGUYK5478reAx2ZECL2alp_lT4mgFp1aVvRWkyvB7xw728JEKTym_yho2qUEQ2B6AxvhMeMBS1fg8YWRVT_XHkzrtptyd3hmFCZ3n7SyrcIFi_o2LFJ6L2MpuR20byFzvt3vEYpKbd0UqH6ba6RGL8FIbaKsE2JeVhIx-3E/s320/GEDC8371.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgypMcGOZyorddbDAJyFUHHoqK5bzWnp7CjDwP6r9anfedFnE0HDsq_S2dVf2K4V8FV3zKQRukk8oDRJwf8vH7n_88rylgnyNPhfbsdp_m3vpH3JQPIRvyxE9UEz5AGWciZhSKKMjD12nFfUIC9tZrTs5pFifhDhVVyG42TOghD_7uEsgJSrZ7rVsrcdSo/s640/GEDC8372.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="480" data-original-width="640" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgypMcGOZyorddbDAJyFUHHoqK5bzWnp7CjDwP6r9anfedFnE0HDsq_S2dVf2K4V8FV3zKQRukk8oDRJwf8vH7n_88rylgnyNPhfbsdp_m3vpH3JQPIRvyxE9UEz5AGWciZhSKKMjD12nFfUIC9tZrTs5pFifhDhVVyG42TOghD_7uEsgJSrZ7rVsrcdSo/s320/GEDC8372.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDzz9F0zIZQ3LVw8u-Fn1JfDQFZiQFz3y7T_DcaxnT-i1TcVMtIW6W9_P31PMHvyqcrt2Z3byElcULN9-Mht4XZY9jukaAn7Z_VZrGJz3rK-AXZhWMJ_sXuj5VudevX6cUdDHo8T5zMfXLZp2h1rV9zkT0EdPvR4wHxVzWhePZ8MdOzX02bZjOUCTMMiA/s640/GEDC8376.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="480" data-original-width="640" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDzz9F0zIZQ3LVw8u-Fn1JfDQFZiQFz3y7T_DcaxnT-i1TcVMtIW6W9_P31PMHvyqcrt2Z3byElcULN9-Mht4XZY9jukaAn7Z_VZrGJz3rK-AXZhWMJ_sXuj5VudevX6cUdDHo8T5zMfXLZp2h1rV9zkT0EdPvR4wHxVzWhePZ8MdOzX02bZjOUCTMMiA/s320/GEDC8376.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjFY9aJD70hUGJeStjiebePnrWSFSFUPbeja2qjJNRiAAaUwBenaU9QzbO4cp-hbdYBQ5Dv_zMCGH18rGGEEQ7m12-KnTYLufsjrdp8DLHOmQajD0CRT05u7suCnQ1BuO248E_FVCXIY40CHiBgB7mVxOB0JBKgmnNUoCBIIczn6XQWfYgSqJzU8bFu5jQ/s640/GEDC8380.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="480" data-original-width="640" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjFY9aJD70hUGJeStjiebePnrWSFSFUPbeja2qjJNRiAAaUwBenaU9QzbO4cp-hbdYBQ5Dv_zMCGH18rGGEEQ7m12-KnTYLufsjrdp8DLHOmQajD0CRT05u7suCnQ1BuO248E_FVCXIY40CHiBgB7mVxOB0JBKgmnNUoCBIIczn6XQWfYgSqJzU8bFu5jQ/s320/GEDC8380.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br /><p>Hubby and Iris and Dude have done well with the Allotments..they work so hard to do it and we appreciate it. It only took a day to do..it was more the moving of the sofa and taking curtains down that took the time. I gave the room a real good deep clean as well. I keep looking at my bookcase and i know i should sort it but its huge and i have not that much room to store my books whilst i do. I could do it in sections but i just want to do it and finished, all over and done with in one day. I did treat myself to lovely new tie backs for my curtains..made myself laugh with that one..when does a treat for yourself ever entail tie backs.</div><div>I have the dining room wall to do and will wait til it is a tiny bit warmer for that.</div><div>Our new blind for the dining room window arrived..the box was perfect but the blind was bent and damaged inside..i did get in touch and sent photos. Seems they have decided to keep my credit and put it towards my Direct Debits and now my monthly payment for Gas is £10 and Electric is the same, they will review my payments in October. Which no doubt they will go up again. Apparently at the end of my plans i will still be owed money even with the new lower payment.</div><div><br /></div><div>I have lots of little jobs to do round the home that i have been saving for the holidays..i want to paint behind my bookcase yep thats why i want to just completely empty it and go for it..i have seen lots of brilliant ideas to make it just pop and stand out. We have had this plant here for about 10 years now and this is the first time it has flowered. He has been borderline for about 10 years and took steps to keep it that way. Now however he is over the limit and is Diabetic Type 2. It really is a shock as the man is as healthy as a horse. We don't have biscuits or sugar in tea and coffee and haven't for about 7 months. He cycles to work and walks everywhere else, he is not overweight at all. Our weekly fruit bill is £10 or more , i would rather spend money on fruit than junk and crisps. He is at the allotments daily when the weather permits . Unfortunately we don't know if his parents had any of these issues as they have sadly passed.</div><div style="text-align: left;">So now we have had to change our diets to help him manage it. He is on medication from the doctors and still in a bit of shock about it. The doctor explained it all to him and we have researched on how to help lower his levels and make sure he is ok. I never would have thought that he would be Diabetic in a million years. I do feel a little annoyed with the doctors as this is his first blood test in 2 years and bang his level has doubled , no one has checked on him since the Pandemic, i understand they have greater concerns and worries but it does sometimes feel like you get left alone on the shelf to be dealt with at a later date.</div><div style="text-align: left;">We are not people to make a fuss or bother doctors as we know they are busy and you feel like sometimes you are just wasting their time over something as trivial as a blood test but and its a big but, they knew he was so close to the edge and didn't monitor him like they should.</div><div style="text-align: left;">However we will manage it and hopefully get his levels down. Wish us luck.</div><div style="text-align: left;">Have a great day.</div><div style="text-align: left;">Love FTM🌼</div>flowertotmumhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03498443996707884535noreply@blogger.com0
