Pantry shop..

I have been saving money to put towards treats for our family, that has now been paid for and i had some money left over..so instead of leaving it and then maybe spending it on things i don't really need i did a Pantry shop..would much rather have extra food than something i bought on a whim and won't be that good anyway.
Extra bags of flour and baking items..more tinned goods and the Biotex..i have this time bought some Puff Pastry..i used my last packet at Christmas and also 2 packets of Cake Mix..i don't normally have those but its good to have them as extra's and emergency cakes. They did substitute some items but i don't mind as they were upgrades from what i ordered. Delivery was £1.
Last time i did a Pantry shop i did it myself,my poor shopping trolley almost collapsed under the weight..so the £1 was well spent.
I did pay extra for the shopping bags..40p to be exact..at 5p a bag that should have been 8 bags..i got 11 ..Bonus!!
I think you can guess which Supermarket it was..and go get the Biotex while its there!!!
The Pantry all filled up and it should last a while now.
It feels good to have it stocked up..can you see my First Aid box on the top shelf..that will be restocked soon..i need plasters and some Antiseptic Cream,Neurofen and Pireteze for the summer

At the minute i am loving this lovely and refreshing tea..i like a good cuppa and coffee as much as the next person but just sometimes i want something different..i drink lots of water and milk and i am not that keen on juices ..so this is totally different and a nice price as well 79p..i am going to try the Raspberry and Apple ones next time.
It also gives me a good excuse to use my grans teapot and little cup and saucer..
Take care

  5. I love a good 'pantry shop'. We do that nw and then and buy pasta, rice amd tomato puree as I use loads of that when cooking. We also like the jars of Pataks sauces and pay 89p at home bargains. They make a great base for all manner of things. Your china teacup looks very simialr to the one that I am using at the moment. I much prefer to drink tea that has been made in a china teapot and am considering whether loose tea will work out cheaper than tea bags... We are Yorkshire Tea lovers and I do keep seeing the loose variety in the bigger supermarkets.
