Do you soak??? Updated
Hello all, how are you all today?
So do you soak your whites?
I love to see white whites..
I have 2 buckets that i use for soaking my whites..someone told me a long time ago it was a waste of time..really i don't think so.
Some stains will not magically disappear when the item is thrown in the washing machine..some stains require attention..and it doesn't matter how amazing the wash powder is ..cheap or expensive none of them are perfect.
I love to have my buckets full of whites soaking over night..Biotex is the best but i have used just normal wash powder.
Biotex is hard to come by these days..so imagine my total delight when i found that a certain supermarket sells it..i have a few boxes stashed away..i have tea towels that are older than Iris and still look good.
And the little tops..beautiful and clean..look new.
I have an extra bucket to soak clothes that are stained..jeans with grass stains and shirts with stains..it may seem old fashioned to do it but i love to see my clothes all clean and if it means spending extra time on them then so be it.
I also have a big bar of Household Soap..i rub that on the stain then use a brush to scrub..not saying it works everytime but it certainly helps.
So ladies do you soak and scrub stains out?
